Thermal Label Printing Best Practices
1. Choosing the Right DPI
Most standard thermal desktop printers (Zebra ZD220, Rollo, Munbyn) use 203 DPI. For small jewelry tags or high-density barcodes, use 300 DPI settings.
2. Dark Contrast
Always maintain pure black bars (`#000000`) on white thermal paper. Thermal heads rely on heat transfer—avoid gradients or gray shades.
3. Quiet Zones
Leave at least 0.25 inches (6mm) of blank white space on the left and right edges of the barcode to ensure laser scanners can parse the start and stop characters.

Yes! Switch to the Thermal Label Studio tab, select your label size (e.g., 2"x1" or 4"x6"), and click "Print Label Roll Now". Set your browser print dialog margins to "None".
